I'm absolutely blown away that all of my applications were accepted (I applied for 3 thinking I wouldn't get any!

I really do hope you will come and visit me and my new DT friends.

In celebration of my ace week i'm going to be arranging some lovely blog candy so watch this space over the weekend!

I'm still here!

Happy Sunday everyone, is it Sunday? I seem to have lost track lately, my youngest Lacey has got tonsillitis yet again - her 8th dose this year. I've had so little sleep that the days and nights seem to be rolling into one.

Any way I thought I'd do a quick post to let you know I'm still here and although I've not managed to blog much, I have managed a little crafting in the background.

I have made a DT card for the Gingerloft Challenge but I'm afraid I can't share it yet - sorry peeps.

I've also found myself bitten by the 'mini album' bug, so I've been watching loads of online tutorials and I've even started my own toilet paper
mini using some lovely new papers - ill share it as soon as I finish.

I thought I'd leave you with a few pics of my rather messy craft desk - just to prove I have been doing something ;-p

Hope to be back soon with more to share, hugs xx cara xx

Another Christmas card!!!!

Evening all - two posts in one day eh? I LOVE BEING OFF WORK!!!

Even though i've been off though ive had a manic day  what wuth hospital appointments, taking car to garage and my littlest with tonsilitis i only had chance to finish off this card, i'd already coloured it up and done the layout last night.

My very lovely crafty friend Jill loaned me this little stamp and i love it, it could be all 3 of my girlies.

I coloured them up with my pro-markers and added some glamour dust to their head bands and dresses.

The image has been cut with spellbinders rectangles and matted on Kraft card.

The lovely DP is new, i bought it at the weekend from my most favourite craft shop - the Craft box, I also bought the Hobby House charm from there too.  The flowers are WOC all edges with stickles.

The sentiments is also from LOTV and the ribbon and little button are from The Ribbon Girl (from the christmas min kit).

Here is a sort of sideways view, i have decorated the inside to complement the front......................

................................ both sides this time.

I do hope you like my little card, thank you so much for visiting me (again) today and for any comments you may leave.

Hugs xx Cara xx

This is another old card which hasnt yet made it to my blog. I found the photo on my phone.

I used a Tatty Ted kit as I needed a card in a hurry - I can't believe I've done a card with no colouring!

I've used WOC flowers, ribbon which i pleated and some fancy die cut corners to embellish, there's loads of stickles on there too but you can't see :-( I really do need a decent camera.

I hope you like my card, thanks for visiting and any comments you may leave.

Too pretty to spook???

Evening all,

I thought i'd share a halloween card tonight, I know it's early but I love halloween.

I actually made this card last year and forgot to post it, i found the pictures while clearing some photo's from my phone.

The image is from Crafts and Me and I think she is so pretty, I love her clothes and the little kitty makes the perfect accessory I think!

I think myPro-Marker colouring has changed quite a lot over the past year, my skin tones look very wishy washy lol!

I used a flourish stamp around the edges and then added Distress Inks.

I added flowers from WOC which I added black stickles to, and there is also some cheescloth if you can see poking out from behind the image.

I used some Halloween papers from an 8x8 pad and hand stiched them all using my sew easy tool.

The card is a lot larger than I wouldusually make these days so there seems to be a lot of empty spaces! I edged the card with yet more black stickles and added ribbon, Lace, a little pumpkin charm and a hand made flower to finish.

I do hope you like my card.

Thankyou so much for visiting and any comments you may leave.

Hugs xx Cara xx

Sorry

Evening all, i appologise in advance for any type o's but im typing so fast as the closing ceremony is just starting!! i must say its looking amazing already!

This card is another for my box to hopefully sell one day (if i ever find the the confidence lol)

Its another Krista Smith image and i love the look on her face - just like one of my girls when they haave been caught doing something wrong.

I've coloured her with both my pro's and prisma's.

I've used a bit of a different colour combo for me but i think i quite like it.

I used some really bright and cheery papers which were a freebie in this months Card Making & Papercraft magazine and backed it with some more of my cordinations card.

The little frame around the amage has been made with a Nellies multi frames die and i used the negative leftovers to cut out the little paper corners, the sentiment was cut with a co-ordinating die.

I also used the smaller die to create a little tag (poking out from behind the image), it has a little space for a hidden message.

My flowers are a mix of WOC and Craft Box, the charm and ribbon are from my stash.   The inside has been decorated to compliment the front as always.

Thank you so much for visiting and any comments you may leave.

The Sweetest Fairy

Hello dears welcome to my little space again!

I'm having a lovely week spending time with my girls and also spending time in my craft room - I dont think ive ever made so many cards in 1 week!

Onto todays card - its a very clean and simple card for me but I wanted to show off the image.

This is one of Mo Mannings delightfull baby fairies, isnt she (or he) so adorable???

I bought the whole set so i'm think of making them all into similar cards and all with lovely bright hair lol.

I coloured the image with my prisma's - can you tell how much  Ilove these pencils, I feel I need more colours though.  I used plenty of stickles on the wings.

I simply backed the image with a few layers of glitter card in maching colours as I wanted a monochromatic feel.

A simple LOTV sentiment,  backed with matching glitter card die cuts and the inside kept very simple and all finished.

One last pic:

I do hope you like me (not so little) card.

Thank you so much for visiting and any comments you may leave - I truly appreciate them!

Hugs xx Cara xx

Class cards

Hello dears and welcome to my lovely new followers - it means so much that you have chosen to visit me and stay with me!!!

I've finally had chance today to finish a coupl of Sarah Kaye cards I started in a class at Whichcraft in Doncaster. I had a lovely day but I must say I did not get on well with using Copics! I wasted so much time trying (and cursing) that I had to fetch both cards home unfinished.
I'm pleased I did though as it has given me chance to change them about a bit and add a few extras ;-p

Hope you like my little cards

No challenges today - that would be cheating really wouldn't it.
