Challenges 4 Everybody DT Card

Hello again,

This is my third and final post of today then i'm off to try and get some rest.

I've been barking like a sael all night and my poor chest and throat hurt so much :-(

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at Challenges 4 Everybody and as you all no there are NO RULES - just create whatever takes your fancy and link it up!!! Simples!

My card for this challenge is for a friends birthday at work - luckily she's not a blogger (or a crafter for that matter) so i'm safe to share.

I chose to use another image from the wonderful Krista Smith for my card:

Isn't she soooo sweet! I coloured her with promarkers and added liquid pearls to the background.

This is a large 8x8 card as the image is quite big.  I kept the design very simple as my friend isn't a frilly fancy type of gal!

I made the rosette style embellishment with a LOTV sentiment and ribbon - it's really large IRL but the card can take it I think.

The papers are one of my latest buys and areNitWits Promises by LOTV.

Inside has been decorated to compliment the front.

I do hope you like my card and that you will join in our new challenge.

I'm off now to try and rest.

Love n hugs

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Dream Valley Challenges and this week we would like to see your Glitter and Bling!!!!

This time we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and they are offering the winner 4 images from thier store!!!

I was lucky enough to get to play with one of their images and I chose "Victorian Beauty"

I've coloured her with my promarkers as always.

For a change I decided to fussy cut my image.

The papers I used are First Edition Isabelle and in "real life" they are covered in glitter and sparkle!

The lace and corner embellies are from my stash, as is the flower which I have covered in stickles.

The inside has been decorated to compliment the front.

I do hope my card has inspired you to join our new challenge at Dream Valley and I hope to see you there!

Here's what I came up with:

I must appologise for the photos, with this gloomy weather I couldnt for the life of me get a decent picture!

I used this lovely large quote as my main image and then embellished, embellished, embellished lol

The lovely papers are Noir et Chic from First Edition and as you can see I used my newest die - from Joy crafts ... i love love love this corner die.

Sisters

Hi everyone, hope you are all well.

I've just got home from the Stamp Magic show at Doncaster and boy am I shattered .... I really dont think I was quite well enough to go but I enjoyed it all the same.

Todays card features another digi from Tiddly Inks - I adore this image - it just reminds me of my three girlies (hence the red hair on the eldest)

As always I have used my promarkers to colour.

The beautiful papers are from MME and are call quite contrary - quite apt I thought for a card featuring my girls :-)

The flowers are also from the pad, I just fussy cut them and backed them with kraft card.

I added faux stiching all over, a few butons and then finished the inside to compliment the front.

I'm off now to cook the sunday dinner (and hopefully play with my new goodies)

Thanks so much for visiting today and hello to my lovely new followers!!!

I truly appreciate any comments you leave.

Hugs xx Cara xx

Winter Wryn

I everyone, i'm finally back after a long time of feeling too ill to craft let alone blog.

I have a card to share which I made just for fun - something I rarely get chance to do these days.

This is the beautiful Winter Wryn from Tiddly Inks - I love her!

I coloured her up with my promarkers and added some sparkle to the fur on her dress and hat.

I love the cute snowman too - hope he doesn't mind the bright pink scarf ;-) The lovely sentiment came with Wryn too.

I teamed my lovely Wryn up with Papermania "Naughty and Nice" christmas papers from last year, and added bazzil for my matting.

I wanted to keep the card bold but quite simple so the only embellies are a Marianne snowflake and a few pearls.

I do hope you like my card and I appreciate each and every comment left for me.

Love and hugs

Appologies and Gingerloft DT card

Morning all,

This is the first of three posts today - i know my posts are like buses arent they lol...... i do have a valid reason for being the worst blogger in history though, i've been really ill with an infected jaw - so bad that ive been laid in bed with the worst fever ever for the best part of a week!

Luckily I had my DT cards ready last week so all I had to do was post them!

Anyway onto the card -

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at Gingerloft - and for this fortnight we would like to see your Halloween creations!

I decided to go with the Spooky pumpin digi (sorry I couldnt find the link to the digi in store but there are loads more Halloween digi's here.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and a little white pen.

I kept the layout simple and just used wooden letters for the sentiment - these were given to me by my very good friend Jill - Thanks Jill!

The papers are MME - Mischievous from last year and I love them!

Inside you can see another one of those great papers!

I hope you like my card - Why dont you join us at Gingerloft and have a look at the other DT creations?

DT project for The Cupboard Trilogy

Evening all,

Another quick post from me tonight, I have some DT work to get on with - as you may have seen my new badge i've become a proud member of Dream Valley Challenges DT - woo hoo i'm so excited, their challenge was one of the first I ever entered.

Onto tonights card - this is for the new Challenge over at The Cupboard Trilogy and this month we would like to see "Things with Wings"

There have been a few changes over at the Cupboard you might want to check them out here - in a nutshell you can now enter anything into the challenge.

I decided to have a go and submit something for the "anything else" category along with my card - lets hope you like it.

I sued my new Magnolia for this project - she is sooo cute i think - reminds me of one of my little girls Paige.

I went with quite a simple layout as my papers are quite busy

The inside is decorated to compliment the front as always

And here is the scented hanger I made to match - i crocheted the whaite snowflake and backed it in white felt, the back is red felt and inside is filled with stuffing and lavender - it smells divine!

Here is a picture of the complete set, I had so much fun making this and I already have orders from family and friends for more!

Ingredients:

Image - Magnolia
Sentiments - LOTV
Colouring medium - promarkers
Ribbon - Ribbon Girl
Felt and Bell - Hobby Craft
Papers - Free with magazine

I hope you like my little gift set and that it will inspire you to join our "Things with Wings" challenge this month.

Love and hugs
