Its Christmas at the Graph'it Bog!!!

Happy happy Friday everyone!!!

Today is my eldest girls birthday today ... she's a big 10!!! wow how the time flies.

I'll be posting pics tomorrow if i get chance.

Today is also the start of a new challenge over at the Graph'it Marker Blog and this week we would love to see you use your markers (any markers) to colour up some Reds and Greens for christmas ... yes yes I know its early but if you think its only 3 more paydays to xmas then its not really is it ??

Right now i've scared you all half to death i'll show you what I did lol

I used the brand new stamps sets from Polka Doodles , these are the Poinsettias and the Sentiment from the Winter Spruce set.

I also made a matching little gift box to go with the card.  I used Kraft card as I love how it looks with the xmas reds and greens.

Graph'it Markers used to colour the Poinsettias and leaves are:

Poinsettias: 5245, 5240, 5220
Leaves: 8180, 8270, 8160
9507 for shading on all.

The backing paper's are from the new Angelberry Christmas CDrom... and did you noticed ... i've added my personalized Christmas watermark - how cute is that!

Woo hoo I have a week off work!!!

Still busy though, have to squeeze in Doctors, Dentist and opticians appointments for the girls, decorating another bedroom, Phoebe's birthday and school shoe shopping ... no rest for the wicked eh!

Before I get started on the huge to do list I thought i'd share this make from a couple of weeks ago ( i completely forgot i'd not posted it!)

I thought i'd try and do Sepia with my lovely Graph'it Markers and for once i'm quite pleased with my efforts.

Here are the colours i used:  3280,3270,3250,3245,3210,4110 

I was feeling in a bit of an Autumn mood when I made this can you tell?

All of the papers were from the Simply Gorjuss range, I just added brow card stock for matting and some flowers, ribbon and leaves.

The little "hello" stamp and die is from Marianne Creatables.

It's been a while since I posted yet again but I've been really busy working (I'm supposed to be part time but I've worked over 50 hours this week)

I've also been spending some time in my my crafty hovel preparing some samples for Nikky's next Polkadoodles/Graph'it show on Create and Craft! - Nikky has some fab new products out and of course the amazing Graph'it markers will be on the show so set your sky plus to record on Sunday 18th August at 2pm.

Today i'm sharing a card for this weeks new Graph'it Marker Challenge and this time we would like to see you colour White!

The winner of this week's challenge will win a fantastic prize worth £30 which will include the Graph'It marker 'Wood' set of 12 brown markers which is fabulous! 

And don't forget you can use any markers to play!!!

So here's what I did:

I used this fabulous image from the brand new Polkadoodles Mini collection CDROM Angelberry Christmas and of course I coloured her up with my Graph'it Markers.

I used the Cool Grey's to colour in the wings and dress and I added a generous coating of glitter with my Wink of Stella pen which really doesn't show.


The papers are from an old DCWV paper pad and i'm quite sad as its almost all gone :-(

I added a die cut border using Frostyville die and added flowers, Ribbon and a charm.

Ooooooo I almost forgot... did you notice my new Watermark??? these are another fab new product from Polkadoodles here .... i went a bit mad and got all different ones... i kinda wished i'd added my Christmas one to these though.

Graph'it Marker Challenge 6

Happy Friday to you all!!!

Another quickie post from me today, Phoebe has a bad water infection so i'm playing mummy nurse today :-(

It's challenge time over at the Graph'it Marker blog and this week we would like to see you use your markers to colour Jeans or Denim ... and remember ANY MARKERS WILL DO!

So here's what I did:

I used the fabulous (and so unlike me) Jamie Workout by Krista Smith.

She is of course coloured with my Graph'its:

Skin: 4125,4145,4155,4135 cheeks
Denim, hair and part of weights: Black, 7180,7170, 7160,7130,710
Greys: 9108,9106,9104

The papers are from the Gorjuss collection and I added flowers from WOC, lots of doodling with black and white pens to finish off.  The ribbon and button are from my stash.
