Make it Pink with Graph'it Markers

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and ready for the festivities to begin!!!

Firstly I'd like to say a huge sorry for neglecting you all for sooooo long, I had to take a little break from crafting and blogging as I've had a house full of the lurgy and soooo many hospital appointments with my girls I've barely had time to turn around.

Normal service should resume in the new year I promise! and I will make time to visit all of your beautiful blogs ASAP!!

So today see's a new challenge over at the Graph'it Marker colour challenge and this week we'd like to see you use your markers to create something PINK with a pattern!!!

Before I show my project I just wanted to share some quick news:

we have a *NEW* Graph'it show on
Create and Craft TV
TODAY at 11.00AM

Nikky will be showing us all some great hints and tips so
make sure you tune into the show which is on
Sky 671 or Freeview 36 or Virgin 748 or FreeSat 813
or you can also watch online at www.createandcraft.tv

So here's my project:

I've had this image for sooo long and not had chance to colour her up yet, she is called Snuggly from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and she is so adorable!

I used the blender pen and a fine liner to create the "plaid" effect on her PJ's.

I teamed her up with LOTV Nitwit paper's "always and forever.

Pop over to the challenge blog to see the other amazing samples and you will find my colour list too!

Before I go I would like to wish everyone the very Merriest of Christmases and a truly happy new year!

Hello all i'm here with my DT card for the Graph'it Marker Colouring Challenge.

Now this week we (the poor DT) have been challenged to colour dark skin tones with our lovely pens ... you on the other hand can enter as long as you have colour Dark Hair with any markers!!!

So easy peasy for you guys right????.

Now I must warn you that this was my first ever attempt at colouring darker skin ... and while there is lots and lots of room for improvement (really there is loads) I'm still pleased I gave it a try - dont be too hard on me when you see it ... i'll be hiding under the table if you want me :)

I used this adorable image from Krista Smith called Jumper (sorry guys I couldn't find her in the shop to give the link)

The papers were from my scraps box and I used my Grand nesties to create the shaped card blank.

The sentiment is a new one from Stampin' Up.

I hope you like it, I would love to see you join our challenge this week!

More Christmas makes

Hi everyone, hope you are all well!

My girls all went back to school this week, my littlest Lacey is only 3 and looked sooo cute in her first uniform (i still cant believe they have to wear uniform at nursery ... she did love it though!).

So today i'm sharing some more samples I made for the lovely Nikky Hall and Polkadoodles which were shown on Create and Craft a couple of weeks ago.

They are more Christmas samples but now the nights are drawing in and the kids are back at school it really is getting close!

So here's what I did (warning i'm showing 2 projects so lots of pics)

The first project is an altered note book, i purchased these notebooks from poundland, they're hard backed and you get 8 in a pack all for £1 ... Bargain!

I covered my little book in delicious papers inside and out from the new Angelberry Christmas CDrom and then added ribbon as a fastener.

For the front I stamped the lovely tree from the Snowy Cottage Stamp set and coloured it in with my lovely Graph'it Markers, I added a die cut border and frame and then stickles to finish.

Next up is a shaker card .... i havent made one of these in soooo long!

Again I used the papers and sentiment from the Angelberry Christmas CDrom and the Snowy Cottage Stamp set.  I also used my Graph'it markers to colour it up, I even managed to do a snowy background using the mixing fluid and a cocktail stick!

I had great fun making these .... they were a nice welcome change from my usual makes.

I hope you like them!

Hugs xx Cara xx

I'd like to enter my projects into the following challenges:

Craft Room Challenge - Tree's or leaves
Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge - Anything but a card (notebook)
