Inky Pinkies DT post - Serenity

Good Morning and a happy Halloween to all of you who celebrate!!

We've had a little bit of a DT shake up at the facebook Inky Pinkies Group and Saturday is my new day to post!

I would love you to pop over and join the group, you can share any of your makes as long as you have coloured something in on your project so come on don't be shy, we are a lovely bunch :)

This week I'm sharing a card made entirely from the wonderful new Serenity Collection.

I used my Lyra Rembrandt Polycolours to colour her up, I think she is so pretty.

The papers and sentiment are also from the collection. I love them they are so bright and fresh, just my cup of tea.

I finished off with a bow and some flowers and of course a fairy card wouldn't be complete without some stickles would it!

I hope you like it!

Have a great weekend lovelies!

Christmas Colours with added Sparkle!!

Happy Friday,

I've been enjoying a week off work with the kids this week, getting ready for Halloween, I can't believe its that time of year again, as soon as Saturday passes though we will be on the slippery slope to Christmas!

And that's our theme over at The Graph'it Marker Blog this week! We are sponsored by The Stamping Boutique and we would like to see you Christmas colour pallets.

I used this lovely wintery image called Candy Land Winter Ice Princess and you can find her here

I used all of my Blue Grey's to achieve the silvery colour palette.  I added my Gold Shake marker to her Tiara and the stars and then the Silver Shake marker to everything else!

I have had to take a sideways photograph as glitter is definitely camera shy!

Colours used:
Skin: 3105, 4155, 4150, 4135
Hair: 370, 3250, 4345
Cool Grey's
Gold and silver glitter shake markers.

I hope you like my sparkly card!!

Have a great Halloween weekend.

A Very Fairy Door Gift Bag

Morning all,

Just another quick post today to share the matching gift bag I made to go with the card I shared on my last post.

I used another Fairy from the A Very Fairy Door Kick starter campaign, and if you've not heard of this before here is a link to the facebook page where you can find all the details.

As you can probably tell these images have been illustrated by Krista Smith of Saturated Canary.

I followed the same theme as I did with the card so this looks very similar, I used the same colour Graph'it Markers and added just as much stickles lol.

The bag is quite large so instead of ribbon I used a large MS punch to add detail.

The fairy is printed out at a (huge for me) 9 inches high!

I hope you like it.

I would like to enter my gift bag into the following challenges:

Crafting for all seasons - all dressed up/girly
Crafty gals corner - Anything goes
Try it on Tuesday's - Lots of Layers

I hope you like it!

Halloween Tag

Hey my lovelies,

Today I'm sharing a project I made for the recent Graph'it Marker show on Create and Craft.

I made a little tag using this adorable little image Hallo Witch from the Greeting Farm.

I coloured her up with my Graph'it Markers, she is so cute I love her!

The whole tag only measures around 3 inches so i only used a couple of tiny pieces of scrap paper, lace and ribbon to make this.

I hope you like it!

I would like to enter my tag into the following challenges:

Come and get it - use orange
Pile it on - Cute or spooky
Robyns fetish - anything halloween

Inky Pinkies DT post

Hey lovelies,

Did you all enjoy your extra hour in bed? Even I managed a lie in it was lovely.

So I posted a peek (onto the Inky Pinkies wall) of a work in progress I've had on my desk for absolutely ages, I could not decide what colours to use to finish it off.

I eventually decided to challenge myself to use yellow .... eeeeek! I can't say I'm entirely happy with it but I'll show you anyway.

I've used an image from the stunning Eden collection which you can find here.

I coloured the image with my Graph'it Markers and added some details with my Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour pencils, I also added some Gold sparkle with my Graph'it Shake glitter marker.

I used papers from a pad by First Edition called "Dream Catcher"  I've had it in my stash for years and never used it because of my fear of yellow lol.

The sentiment is from Stampin up and I've been waiting for the perfect project to add it to, i've also been saving the large rose for something special too!

I hope you like it.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, I have pulled pork in my slow cooker for a change to the normal Sunday roast and i'm also off work next week so i'm a very happy bunny!

The Pencil Cases new Challenge - E = Eerie

Good morning lovelies!

Today is the start of a new challenge over at the Pencil Cases blog

In addition to the fabulous pencils prize for the random winner, this week we are sponsored by oddball art, you can find the store here and they are offering a prize of 3 images too!

This week I got to play with the image Clarissa and I adore her! As she had the stitching on her face I decided to give her green skin a bit like Frankenstein!

To give my image a darker look I coloured it all in Greys first and then went over with my other colours, I did the same with the sky too!

I finished the card off simply with a sentiment and a double bow.

I hope you like it, do come and join us over at the challenge, my teamies have created some fabulous inspiration for you!

Have a great weekend!

This week I have used my Graph'it markers to colour this stunning image from the Polkadoodles Angelberry Christmas CDrom

I decided to go for lovely soft muted colours today.

I layered so many papers up today but they are so delicate my camera struggled to pick up all the colours!

I only added a few flowers and some stickles to finish off as I didn't want to overpower the image.

I hope you like it, i'm now off to cook the Sunday lunch and tune into the Graph'it Marker show on Hochanda!

Browns: 75,76
Orange: 13,15,17,76

Home for Christmas pop up card

Good morning,

Just a quick post today before I head off to my hospital appointment to share my Inky Pinkies Facebook DT post.

Today I have something a little different for you.

I saw one of these on the lovely Lou Daubney's face book and just had to give it a try.

It is a pop up card and I used the images from the Home for Christmas CD from Polkadoodles.

All of the images are coloured with my Graphit markers, I also added Glossy accents to Santa's glasses.

There are four images inside, I added white marker accents and stickles.

I kept the colours simple, just red, white and neutral greys.

My daughter had to hold it while i took the vid to show how it works.

If you would like to make one yourself here is the link to the ladies Youtube tutorial I used.

I hope you like it!

Halloween Challenge at the Graph'it Marker Blog

Hi everyone its Friday and time for a new challenge at the Graph'it Marker blog.

This week we are sponsored by Nikki Burnette and we have colour palettes to play with too!  We the DT had an extra challenge to use our blenders creatively to make patterns ect.

Prize 3 images

Here's what I did:

I used the image Alondra and Medwin and she can be found here.  I went with the blue grey palette as I thought my image would work well as an underwater scene.  I used my blender to create light streaming in through the sea and also to create bubbles under the water.

With the image being so detailed I simply mat and layered the image and the card was finished!

I hope you like it, do pop over to the blog to see the other DT makes and remember in addition to digi's there is also a randomly selected winner for a prize from Cult Pens!

Have a great weekend!
