Hi everyone,
I'm sharing a card today which is for my hubby Lee's birthday next month from our youngest daughter Lacey May.
I've not made him cards before as he never seems to keen so I really hope he likes it.
I coloured this image (by Mo Manning) so many times trying to find a decent sepia colour combo...i'm still not entirely sure about it though.
I kept the card quite simple (for me) and just used some old DP's and added some trim from my stash. The computer generated sentiment is matted onto a laser cut wooden frame.
Inside is decorated simply too.
I really hope you like it - i'm not too hot with male cards so please go easy on me ;-)
Thanks for visiting and i'll see you tomorrow with a GDT card.
Hugs
xx Cara xx
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Cara, Monochromatic isn't always easy and you have a double whammy doing a male card. You did an awesome job. The image is great and the papers coordinate well together. I especially like that you used bling for a masculine card. Would love to see more like these!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! The sepia tones makes the image jump off the page. Very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along with us at Eclectic Ellapu!
