Winnie Easter Card Series 4

Hello again!

So this is the final card in my Winnie Sugar Sprinkles easter card series.  And again I have used another design sheet and an extra sheet of design paper.

I totally love these design sheets, you get so many elements on them ... I just print loads of sheets off and then sit on the sofa and have an afternoon cutting (yes I have a portrait but sometimes its just nice to sit and hand cut)

Again I had enough to decorate the inside, I only used elements from the collection and then I added loads of stickles!

I do hope you like it and that you have enjoyed my little card series.

Enjoy the rest of your Easter.

Easter Winnie Card Series 3

Hello again!

I'm back with my 3rd Easter Card made with the stunning new Winnie Sugar Sprinkles collection from Polkadoodles.

So this is another card I made using 1 design sheet and one sheet of backing paper ... everything is from the collection again:

Isn't she so cute!  I feel like I cheated not colouring an image.

I added loads of stickles and even had enough on the design sheet to decorate the inside of the card too!

Hope you like it!

Duckling Discovery - Crafts and Me

Hello again!

2 posts on one day can you believe it!!???

I'm so enjoying my week off my girls have been so good to me and allowed me loads of crafty time, sadly tomorrow is my last day off but I do hope to keep on crafting in an evening now the clocks have "sprung" forward!

So today I thought I would create this super quick card and finally enter the Freebie challenge over on the Crafts and Me face book page.

The freebie this time was by Hannah Lynn and is called Duckling Discovery, she is no longer a freebie but you can buy her here

I coloured her up with my Graph'it markers and added details with my stabilo fine liners, white pen and clear wink of stella.

The papers are new ones called "Bohemian" and I got the pad from the Range .. although not sure what brand they are.

This seems to be my go-to layout, I think I really need to go hunting for some card shetches and change things up a bit lol.

I hope you like it.

Have a super Sunday lovelies!

I used only ! design sheet and an extra sheet of backing paper, everything from the CD.

I added Winnie and the sentiment inside.

Finally I finished off with loads of stickles!

Hope you like it.

Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Easter Series 1

Happy Easter Saturday Everyone!!!

Today I'm sharing one of 4 Easter cards I have made with the brand new Winnie Sugar Sprinkles, released a couple of weeks ago from the brilliant Nikky Hall and Polkadoodles!

So here goes ..

I printed off one of the digi topper sheets onto water colour card for this one and coloured her in with my Lyra Rembrandt Pencils, isn't she so sweet!

I used one of Dutch Doobadoo templates to make the shaped card and used papers from the collection too.

I added a die cut swirl, some flowers, a banner die and lots of lace, ribbon and stickles to finish of.

I hope you like it.

Peculiar colour combinations at the Pencil Cases Challenge!

Hi everyone I hope you are all enjoying the start of the lovely long Easter weekend!!

Now before I get on to the post can I just mention I have no clue what is happening to the format of this blog post I cannot get it to go left no matter what I do so apologies for that lol.

So it's a new challenge starting today over at the Pencil Case's Blog and this week we are sponsored by Enchanted Design Studio.

This is a new company to me and they have some amazing images and they are offering 2 images to the winner so go take a peep at what you could be in with a chance of winning if you enter!  Now remember there is also a pencil prize up for grabs for all UK entrants so remember to put "UK" after your name when you link up.

So what is the challenge this week??? Well we want to see your Peculiar colour combo's!! Remember you can use any colour medium to enter.

My image this week is a the Turtle Colouring Page. Now I must admit I really struggled to think of a peculiar colour combo, i'm so used to putting colours that work together I just could not do it .... take a  look what do you think??

Now because I was given a colouring page to use I decided to leave the card very simple, I only added a sentiment at the bottom and I even "attempted" some Zengtangle .... lol  Yes I said attempted as I wont be attempting it again I don't think, it went totally wrong!

Any way I hope you like it, make sure you head over and check the other DT inspiration ....

High Tops - Coloured with Pencils

Hey everyone,

Just popping in to share a card with you .... this is another I made for the Lyra Rembrandt launch on Create and Craft and still not had chance to blog about.

Something a little bit different for me I think ...

Yes I did a boys card!!!  Not something you will see on my blog every day!

The image is High Tops by Just Inklined ... I think it can be used for either boys or girls.

I really enjoyed colouring this up, definitely something far away from colouring the cute whimsical images I usually go for.  I teamed it up with some darker papers I found lurking at the back of my papers cabinet.

I hope you like it!

Easter Baskets

Hi my lovelies,

I'm in a great mood today as I'm off work for a week and so far enjoying myself, the girls are behaving and I've even had time to craft!

Now excuse the dodgy photos of my eater baskets I had to take quick shots before the kids got their hands on them lol

So first up is my "Grown up's" baskets, made with stunning new Pion Easter papers and using my envelope punch board, I saw the Tutorial on My Sister Scrapper You tube channel and I think she found it on Pinterest, anyway here they are:

I made 6 in total, they were a little fiddly but worth the effort to do the beautiful papers justice.

Next up are my "Kiddies" easter baskets, very bright and cute and made entirely with Lawn Fawn products, I also used my Envelope punch for these too:

I coloured the little chicks with my new Zig Clean colour markers, these were so simple to make I had real fun!

I really hope you like them, I hope the recipients will too!

Have a great week!

Spring Delights at the Colour Crazy Challenge

Hi everyone, finally its Friday and while you are reading this I will probably be finishing up my last shit at work before a week off with the kiddies wooooooo!

So today I am sharing my DT project for the Colour Crazy Challenge at the Graph'it Marker Blog and this week we have the theme of Spring Delights and are sponsored by the amazing Ching-Chou Kuik!  I love her style, her images are great fun to colour.

One lucky winner will wing some gorgeous digi images and remember for UK entries there is also a Graph'it Marker prize up for grabs!

Here is the colour palette I chose to work with, there are two over on the challenge blog but you don't need to use them for your entries.

So here is my make.... my image  is called Embrace the Ocean stunning and with it being an undersea image I just had to give her green skin! I decided to colour the background too and used my blender to soften it and give the impression of bubbles. I had great fun!

I used my white pen to add lots of details and also a blue fine liner to add in tiny dots to her skin.

With detail of the image I didn't really need to add many embellies, just a few pearl strings some ribbon.

I hope you like it and hope it's inspired you to get colouring!

Have a great weekend!

Happy Everything - Saturated Canary Image with Pencils

Hi lovelies,

I've been sorting all of my memory sticks out and have found quite a few makes that i've never shared before!!! Can you believe it?? So I plan on sharing them all as and when I can .... hey maybe it will make my blog seem a little less unloved right??

So first up is a card made for the Launch of the Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour Pencils on Create and Craft.

I used the adorable Fairy Sweet image by Saturated Canary ... isn't she the sweetest thing?

Now please remember when I coloured this image I hadn't used the pencils before lol having said that I don't think my colouring has changed all that much, I am still so heavy handed and I adore my dark rich colours ...maybe not so much for the the skin though ha ha

I used a shaped card I got from C & C ages ago, its very lobg so I struggled to find papers wide enough, maybe that's why they were so cheap!

I finished of with a large bow and some lovely flowers from WOC, the sentiment is by LOTV.

I hope you like it.

The Pencil Case's Challenge - O is for One colour!

Hi everyone,

I finally feel well enough to start back with my DT makes, and I'm so thankful to my wonderful boss lady Nikky and my teamies for putting up with me being such a slacker lol.

So today is the start of another new challenge at the Pencil Case's Blog and we want to see you colour with just one colour ....eeeeeep!

Now its not as difficult as it sounds, in fact it's a great way to practice your colouring technique and takes out all the stress of matching colour tones so give it a try ... and remember you can use any colouring medium to enter our challenge.

This fortnight we are sponsored by the awesome Polkadoodles!!!

I used one of my fave collections for this challenge ....Winston bear is perfect for colouring in monochrome, and also perfect for the father's day card I made (i'm trying to get ahead) I used tones of brown/yellow  to give my card a sepia feel.

The papers I used are from the collection too and I know this is a man's card but I don't think the lace or ribbon looks too girly .....does it lol?

I finished off with my awesome cork alpha tiles, i've had these in my stash since forever and have to use them very sparingly as I cannot find them anywhere now, they a self adhesive and very light weight ... my dad is a lucky man to get so many on his card!

So I hope you like my make and you will pop over and join in the challenge!

Have a great weekend!
