Hi everyone,
I finally feel well enough to start back with my DT makes, and I'm so thankful to my wonderful boss lady Nikky and my teamies for putting up with me being such a slacker lol.
So today is the start of another new challenge at the
Pencil Case's Blog and we want to see you colour with just one colour ....eeeeeep!
Now its not as difficult as it sounds, in fact it's a great way to practice your colouring technique and takes out all the stress of matching colour tones so give it a try ... and remember you can use any colouring medium to enter our challenge.
This fortnight we are sponsored by the awesome Polkadoodles!!!
I used one of my fave collections for this challenge ....
Winston bear is perfect for colouring in monochrome, and also perfect for the father's day card I made (i'm trying to get ahead) I used tones of brown/yellow to give my card a sepia feel.
The papers I used are from the collection too and I know this is a man's card but I don't think the lace or ribbon looks too girly .....does it lol?
I finished off with my awesome cork alpha tiles, i've had these in my stash since forever and have to use them very sparingly as I cannot find them anywhere now, they a self adhesive and very light weight ... my dad is a lucky man to get so many on his card!
So I hope you like my make and you will pop over and join in the challenge!
Have a great weekend!
hugs xx Cara xx
