Ula - Be a Mermaid

Hi everyone!

What a week it has been!  The beginning of the week there was a hug fire at a recycling plant at the end of my street! luckily no one was hurt but we were evacuated from our homes for 2 days and now the huge clean up is in operation.  Everything stinks of burning plastic .... including all of my crafting goodies :(   The papers I had in my huge metal cabinet aren't bad but the ones I had left out aren't too good.

I also had my last day at my old job Friday, I am moving to a job much closer to home, I am so excited but really sad to say goodbye to many wonderful friends.

So now we are all caught up I have had a little time to craft this weekend .. in between cleaning and here is what I did:

This is the fabulous Ula Be a mermaid and her wonderful matching sentiment from Polkadoodles!

I used my Spectrum Noir pencils to colour her up and added some sparkle with my Copic Spica pens.

I did plan a totally over the top tropic flower power type of card but then ended up a little bit more bold and striking instead!

I used papers from my fabulous Trimcraft Paradise Crush pad.. I love these papers!  I added a double bow and of course some faux stitching to finish.

Hope you like it.

Hugs xx Cara xx
