Cupboard Trilogy DT - Autumn/Halloween

Evening all, i'm a little late with my post today as i've been out at the bank for what seems like hours - all sorted now though thankfully.

Just a quick post tonight to let you know today is the start of a new challenge at The Cupboard Trilogy and this month we would like to see your Autumn/Halloween projects.

THe winner will receive a £5 voucher for Paper Arts.

I only have one picture to share today and i'm afraid it's a bit naff - I thought I had already uploaded my pictures to my pc and I went on a cleaning up spree on my camera - it turns out I hadn't loaded them up so i'm stuck with the one I took on my phone - sorry guys.

I decided to make some treat bags for my girls for halloween (they've eaten everything already!)

I used Happy Hauntings paper from Graphic 45 - this paper pad lasts forever!

I used lots of embellies on these - charms, roses, bows and lots of black stickles.

And there you have - see I told you it would be a quick one :-)

I hope you like my project and that you'll hop over to join our challenge this month.

Love and hugs

Challenges 4 Everybody DT Card

Hello again,

This is my third and final post of today then i'm off to try and get some rest.

I've been barking like a sael all night and my poor chest and throat hurt so much :-(

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at Challenges 4 Everybody and as you all no there are NO RULES - just create whatever takes your fancy and link it up!!! Simples!

My card for this challenge is for a friends birthday at work - luckily she's not a blogger (or a crafter for that matter) so i'm safe to share.

I chose to use another image from the wonderful Krista Smith for my card:

Isn't she soooo sweet! I coloured her with promarkers and added liquid pearls to the background.

This is a large 8x8 card as the image is quite big.  I kept the design very simple as my friend isn't a frilly fancy type of gal!

I made the rosette style embellishment with a LOTV sentiment and ribbon - it's really large IRL but the card can take it I think.

The papers are one of my latest buys and areNitWits Promises by LOTV.

Inside has been decorated to compliment the front.

I do hope you like my card and that you will join in our new challenge.

I'm off now to try and rest.

Love n hugs

Afternoon all,

This is my first ever scheduled post so i hope it works eeek!

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Dream Valley Challenges and this week we would like to see your Glitter and Bling!!!!

This time we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and they are offering the winner 4 images from thier store!!!

I was lucky enough to get to play with one of their images and I chose "Victorian Beauty"

I've coloured her with my promarkers as always.

For a change I decided to fussy cut my image.

The papers I used are First Edition Isabelle and in "real life" they are covered in glitter and sparkle!

The lace and corner embellies are from my stash, as is the flower which I have covered in stickles.

The inside has been decorated to compliment the front.

I do hope my card has inspired you to join our new challenge at Dream Valley and I hope to see you there!

I'm starting off with the new Challenge over at Gingerloft and this time we would like to see your creations minus the colouring!!!

I must say I found this really difficult - I so love my promarkers and pencils I really had to get my thinking cap on!

Here's what I came up with:

I must appologise for the photos, with this gloomy weather I couldnt for the life of me get a decent picture!

I used this lovely large quote as my main image and then embellished, embellished, embellished lol

The lovely papers are Noir et Chic from First Edition and as you can see I used my newest die - from Joy crafts ... i love love love this corner die.

The ribbons and pins are all from my stash, as is the fab zipper flower, I've had these flowers for so long and finally got the chance to use one - yay!

I do hope you like my card and that it has inspired you to join in with our challenge... hpe to see you there!!!

Sisters

Hi everyone, hope you are all well.

I've just got home from the Stamp Magic show at Doncaster and boy am I shattered .... I really dont think I was quite well enough to go but I enjoyed it all the same.

Todays card features another digi from Tiddly Inks - I adore this image - it just reminds me of my three girlies (hence the red hair on the eldest)

As always I have used my promarkers to colour.

The beautiful papers are from MME and are call quite contrary - quite apt I thought for a card featuring my girls :-)

The flowers are also from the pad, I just fussy cut them and backed them with kraft card.

I added faux stiching all over, a few butons and then finished the inside to compliment the front.

I'm off now to cook the sunday dinner (and hopefully play with my new goodies)

Thanks so much for visiting today and hello to my lovely new followers!!!

I truly appreciate any comments you leave.

Hugs xx Cara xx

Winter Wryn

I everyone, i'm finally back after a long time of feeling too ill to craft let alone blog.

I have a card to share which I made just for fun - something I rarely get chance to do these days.

This is the beautiful Winter Wryn from Tiddly Inks - I love her!

I coloured her up with my promarkers and added some sparkle to the fur on her dress and hat.

I love the cute snowman too - hope he doesn't mind the bright pink scarf ;-) The lovely sentiment came with Wryn too.

I teamed my lovely Wryn up with Papermania "Naughty and Nice" christmas papers from last year, and added bazzil for my matting.

I wanted to keep the card bold but quite simple so the only embellies are a Marianne snowflake and a few pearls.

I do hope you like my card and I appreciate each and every comment left for me.

Love and hugs
