Digi Chooseday Week 28 - With Wings

Good Morning guys,

Its Tuesday and that can only mean 1 thing … its time to share my Digi Choosday DT make!

Before I do, I will just remind you that there is a fantastic code up for grabs so you can have a massive discount of downloads which you can then use to enter the challenge .. you can also use any other image you have … so there's no excuse not to join in right???

The challenge is always anything goes, but the DT theme this week is "With Wings"

 I chose to use the super sweet Serenity Dancing from the Serenity Fairy Wishes Bundle.  The papers and the sentiment are from the same collection.

I coloured the beautiful image up with my Prisma Pencils and then added accents with Stickles.

Petal Lu DT July Face book challenge

Hi everyone!

It has been so hot here this week and I must say its all too much for me (unless I am on holiday abroad by a pool of course!) It has been over 30 Degrees every day this week and the air conditioning at work has been broken ,now with a glass building no opening windows and 600 plus computers in there it has made for a very sweaty working week!

I hope you are having some good weather where you are :)

So today I am sharing my DT card for Petal Lu, the challenges are now on Facebook here.

The challenge is always anything goes and you can win some fab prizes:

So here is my make:

I used one of my new Gorjuss Girl Stamps, I adore these images! I coloured her up with my Prisma Pencils and used my aqua pencils for the sky.

I used the co-ordinating Gorjuss papers to matt and layer with craft Cardstock

The sentiment stamp and die are by Simon Says Stamp and of course I finished off with my beautiful blooms from the Petal Lu Store.

My image this week is called Sylar and Friends signs of spring and can be found here,  the image comes with 3 great sentiments too! 

I used my prisma pencils to colour the image and teamed it with bright spring inspired papers.

I kept the whole card clean and fresh with just some doodling to finish off.

Papernest Dolls Challenge - May Challenge

Hello everyone!!!

I have some super amazing news ..... The lovely Christine has invited me to be DT member on her wonderful challenge Design Team for her super sweet Paper Nest Dolls!!! I am so honoured, you will all know how much I adore these images ... they are all I seem to use lately...

So why don't I just get straight to it ... today see's the start of the May challenge and as always its Anything Goes!

Today I have used Strawberry Jam Ellie and she is from the brand new digital release and is in the store today!

I coloured her up using my prisma pencils, I also tried some new Strathmore paper especially for colour pencils.

I managed to find some old papers with strawberries on that matched perfectly.

I finished off with some pearls and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I do hope you will pop over and join in the challenge.

Sorry

Evening all, i appologise in advance for any type o's but im typing so fast as the closing ceremony is just starting!! i must say its looking amazing already!

This card is another for my box to hopefully sell one day (if i ever find the the confidence lol)

Its another Krista Smith image and i love the look on her face - just like one of my girls when they haave been caught doing something wrong.

I've coloured her with both my pro's and prisma's.

I've used a bit of a different colour combo for me but i think i quite like it. 

I used some really bright and cheery papers which were a freebie in this months Card Making & Papercraft magazine and backed it with some more of my cordinations card.

The little frame around the amage has been made with a Nellies multi frames die and i used the negative leftovers to cut out the little paper corners, the sentiment was cut with a co-ordinating die.

I also used the smaller die to create a little tag (poking out from behind the image), it has a little space for a hidden message.

My flowers are a mix of WOC and Craft Box, the charm and ribbon are from my stash.   The inside has been decorated to compliment the front as always.

The Sweetest Fairy

Hello dears welcome to my little space again!

I'm having a lovely week spending time with my girls and also spending time in my craft room - I dont think ive ever made so many cards in 1 week!

Onto todays card - its a very clean and simple card for me but I wanted to show off the image.

This is one of Mo Mannings delightfull baby fairies, isnt she (or he) so adorable???

I bought the whole set so i'm think of making them all into similar cards and all with lovely bright hair lol.

I coloured the image with my prisma's - can you tell how much  Ilove these pencils, I feel I need more colours though.  I used plenty of stickles on the wings.

I simply backed the image with a few layers of glitter card in maching colours as I wanted a monochromatic feel.

A simple LOTV sentiment,  backed with matching glitter card die cuts and the inside kept very simple and all finished.

I'd like to share a card today which I made for one of my team at work who was off ill (poor thing) the trouble is I took so long to make it she came back before I had finished it!!

I must admit it does take me forever to make my cards simply because I cannot fit the time in, if it was up to me I would live in my craft room 😔.

Gorjuss in the garden

Evening all, how are you? after all this time i though it was about time i asked ;-D.

I'm sharing a card today made with one of the very first stamps i ever bought, i stamped her and coloured her as soon as i bought her but she never made it onto a card.  i found the poor thing face down under a pile of scraps so i dusted her off, added some shading with my prisma's (my earlier colouring had no shading lol) and here she is in all her glory.

I used centura pearl ivory card stock to make my base and matted prima fairy belle papers with green centura pearl.

I fussy cut my image for a change to create a little scene, i used lots of dies for my little han made flowers and leaves to which i added pearls and butterflies (all made with yet more centura)

The little sentiment tag part of the fabby set from LOTV - my fave buy from the Stamp Magic show.

I finished of my card with some stickles, liquid pearls and a bow, the inside has been decorated to compliment the front.
