Inky Pinkies DT post!

Happy Saturday!!

I'm just popping in quickly to share my Inky Pinkies DT post and today I have used to super adorable little fat Bee from the Winnie Fruit Punch collection.

He is actually an embellishment on the collection but just look at him .... he deserves a card all to himself he's so cute!

The great think about Nikky's collections is that all of the images and the embellishments come in coloured and black and white so you can colour them any colours you like!

I coloured him in with my Lyra Rembrandt Polycolours and added some Silver Graph'it Shake marker to his little wings.

The papers I used are also from the collection.  I used a honeycomb die I've had in my stash for year un used from MFT

I also found out a brand new pad of distress kraft core cor'edinations, I sanded it back to look distressed.  I finished off with some faux stitching and of course some flowers from WOC.

I hope you like it!

I'm having a bit of a tough time with my porrly pancreas today so I'm going go have a little lay down on the sofa I think!

Enjoy your weekend.

Forever Rose - Pencil colouring

Hi me again ....

I've been doing some more colouring with my pencils and today I have used one of my favourite images by Hannah Lynn and this is Forever Rose, she was purchased as a download from Crafts and Me and can be found here.

I've popped her on a teeny A6 card and teamed her with some vintage papers I found in my scraps box.

I added a few embellies and flowers from the Hobby House and WOC.

I decided to leave the stickles alone today ... don't worry though I have another card with plenty of sparkle to share tomorrow :D

I hope you like her!

Have a great weekend.

I've been playing with pencils this week, now don't judge me i'm quite new to pencils so please be kind :D

I'm sharing a teeny tiny A6 card with you today using the image Sphynx by Saturated Canary and she can be found here!

I teamed her up with papers from and old First Edition pad called Floral Pavilion and added loads of diamond stickles!

The sentiment is from Stampin' up and the flowers are from WOC.

I hope you like it!

Have a great weekend.

Hello again!!!!

Hello to the few people still following me, I've finally returned from a very long break from blog land. Sadly life and work have both been in the way of my blogging for months now. I seem to have finally clawed my way back though and now have a few cards to share..... I will spread them over a few posts though!

My first card to share is one I made "just for fun". I received my new limited edition spring promarkers on sunday and challenged myself to colour an image using only these! What a breakthrough! I loved having only 6 colours to think about, it took away all off the complications of shading lol anyway lets see what you think - I love this little Lilly wedding stamp which I stamped onto Neenah, I didn't use any DP's on this card, instead I used centura purl card stock in white and silver and simply matted and layered using a Martha Stewart punch. The flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the ribbon and lace are from my stash.
I really hope you like my creation, I promise I will try to post more often from now on.

Thanks for looking, love cara xx
