Orange and Lemons at the Colour Crazy Challenge

I love posting my Colour Crazy Challenge DT makes 'cos that can only mean one thing ..... Its FRIDAY Wooooooooooo!

So this week the team at were challenged to use our markers to Colour in Orange and Lemons.

You lucky so and so's don't have to colour in these colours just make sure they feature somewhere on your card.

Now I never ever use this colour palette so it was quite a challenge for me and I must say I really enjoyed myself ...

I used this stunning image from the Dollie Daydream Goes East CDrom, In fact the Shaped card template, papers and sentiment were from there too!

My card is supposed to be in the shape of a paper lantern but with all the embellies I added you can barely make it out lol!

My full list of colours used is over on the Challenge Blog along with the fabulous makes from my lovely teamies.

Looking forward to seeing all your "Zesty makes"

Have a great weekend

Hugs xx Cara

Only 224 days until xmas eeeeeeeeeek!

Hi everyone hope you are all well and not too soggy from all the rain we've been having recently.

While I was photoing a recent DT card I found some pictures on my camera of a make I haven't shared yet from xmas just gone and thought I would take the opportunity to share it and remind you how little time we have left until next crimbo ;)

I made this card for my very lovely friend Jill:

I used the super darling image from Saturated Canary called Tree Topper, I coloured her up with my fabulush Graph'it Markers and added glamour dust to the ground to look like sparkly snow.

The papers are from an old pad so I dont remember the make, sorry guys, I also made a little box to deliver the card too!

The sentiment is from LOTV.

Hope you like it and sorry if I scared you with the Christmas countdown lol!

Huge hugs xx Cara xx

I used this stunning image from A Day For Daisies she is called Fancy Hair Fairy.

I used mainly my Pink Grays to colour the whole image (you can check out my full list of colours over on the challenge blog)

I went for something a little different and created a bottle tag using the fab template from the Doobadoo Nikky stocks in the Polkadoodles store, you can also use the template to make a door hanger. I also used the Doobadoo laser art butterflies to embellish my Tag.

50 shades of Green Grey?

Hi everyone its Friday again and that can only mean one thing right???

Another brand new Colour Crazy challenge over at the Graph'it Marker Blog.

This week the team have been challenged to use the fab range of Green Greys available in the Graph'it Marker range.

Here's my card:

I used another beautiful image by Hannah Lynn at Crafts and Me ... this is the stunning Hannah.

I used my Green Greys to create a Monochromatic card. I also added shimmer using the Glitter shake markers and the white dots were done with the Graph'it white marker pen.

The papers are called Fairy belle I think, sorry guys I have a habit of losing the front covers.

I found Frantage powder too ...... once I started I couldn't stop lol.

Shadow Effects Challenge at the Graph'it Marker Blog

Happy Friday all!!!

Today will especially happy for me as it is my birthday!! although I am writing this post on Wednesday evening so I can't tell you what I got just yet but may pop back with an extra post to let you know!

So today it is Team B's turn to give a little bit of extra inspiration for the current challenge over at the newly re-named Colouring Crazy Challenge (previously the Graph'it Marker challenge), this fortnight we would like to see you use your marker to create shadow effects....and remember any markers will do!!!!

Yet again we have some amazing prizes up for grabs so I do hope you can join in!

Here's what I did:

I did get a few early birthday presents from my lovely hubby, he treated me to the rest of the stamps and other goodies from the Gorguss range to complete my collection so I used one of my lovely new stamps and the matching papers.

I used my Grand Decorative oval nesties to cut out the image, I used my Graph'it markers to colour the image and also to create shadows and a background to make her pop of the page a bit more.

For final touches I used my Graph'it Shake white marker to add little dots all over the image and for borders around the card.

I used lace, ribbon and a corner die to finish off the card.

I hope you like it, I really enjoyed making it and finally feel like I am getting back into the swing of this crafting lark again :)

Why not pop over to the challenge to check out my colour list and see the other inspiration from my lovely teamies.

My Hero!

Hi everyone,

Today I'm sharing one of the samples I made for the  launch of Nikky Hall's fab new CD roms Work and Play Collection 1.

I absolutely love this collection, collection number 2 is also out now too so even more characters to play with ... I do have a few more samples to share with you too!

So here's the first, this is the super cute Fire woman!

Isn't she adorable, look at that cute little face!

I coloured her with my Graph'it Markers and added the luminous yellow with a highlighter pen ... which was so difficult as I only has one with a giant chisel tip!

The papers and sentiment are also from the CD.

For embellishments I added chipboard stars from a brand new line of products Nikky stocks from a company called Doobadoo, I coloured them in with my markers too.

I hope you like it.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Hugs xx Cara xx
