Petal Lu Challenge - June - Use Red

Hello lovelies,

Today I'm sharing my DT post for the fabulous Petal Lu Challenge and this month we would like to see you use RED FLOWERs on your project..... remember you can also use other colours too but there must be at least one red flower on your project!

This month I tried something a little different ......

I used this wonderful image by Hannah Lynn Queen of Hearts digi stamp from Crafts & Me and I coloured her up with my Spectrum Noir Markers (this is my first time using SN's so be gentle lol).

I decided to add it to a small 7x5 canvas instead of a card. I painted the canvas black and created some turquoise texture past which I used to stencil hearts all over before adding my torn up backing papers.

Finally I embellished with die cut hearts, faux stitching and of course the star of the show my stunning Petal Lu flowers!

I do hope you like it and would love to see you come join in our challenge!

Duckling Discovery - Crafts and Me

Hello again!

2 posts on one day can you believe it!!???

I'm so enjoying my week off my girls have been so good to me and allowed me loads of crafty time, sadly tomorrow is my last day off but I do hope to keep on crafting in an evening now the clocks have "sprung" forward!

So today I thought I would create this super quick card and finally enter the Freebie challenge over on the Crafts and Me face book page.

The freebie this time was by Hannah Lynn and is called Duckling Discovery, she is no longer a freebie but you can buy her here

I coloured her up with my Graph'it markers and added details with my stabilo fine liners, white pen and clear wink of stella.

The papers are new ones called "Bohemian" and I got the pad from the Range .. although not sure what brand they are.

This seems to be my go-to layout, I think I really need to go hunting for some card shetches and change things up a bit lol.

I hope you like it.

Have a super Sunday lovelies!

Dee Dee coloured in Pencils

Morning crafters and a huge welcome to my new followers, I am so pleased you have chosen to take time out of your days to visit my little world!

I have been doing some more colouring and would like to share with you Dee Dee ...she is a beautiful Hannah Lynn digi image and she can be found here!

I have coloured her with my pencils (hopefully will be able to reveal which soon eeeeeeeeek)

I did stuff up her nose a bit but hey ho we all make mistakes right :)

This is another teeny tiny card, i'm really enjoying making smaller card lately, they seem to come together so much more quickly - even though the images are a little fiddly to colour!

I hope you like today's card!

Forever Rose - Pencil colouring

Hi me again ....

I've been doing some more colouring with my pencils and today I have used one of my favourite images by Hannah Lynn and this is Forever Rose, she was purchased as a download from Crafts and Me and can be found here.

I've popped her on a teeny A6 card and teamed her with some vintage papers I found in my scraps box.

I added a few embellies and flowers from the Hobby House and WOC.

I decided to leave the stickles alone today ... don't worry though I have another card with plenty of sparkle to share tomorrow :D

I hope you like her!

Have a great weekend.

50 shades of Green Grey?

Hi everyone its Friday again and that can only mean one thing right???

Another brand new Colour Crazy challenge over at the Graph'it Marker Blog.

This week the team have been challenged to use the fab range of Green Greys available in the Graph'it Marker range.

Here's my card:

I used another beautiful image by Hannah Lynn at Crafts and Me ... this is the stunning Hannah.

I used my Green Greys to create a Monochromatic card. I also added shimmer using the Glitter shake markers and the white dots were done with the Graph'it white marker pen.

The papers are called Fairy belle I think, sorry guys I have a habit of losing the front covers.

I found Frantage powder too ...... once I started I couldn't stop lol.

I hope you like it!
