Hi!

Evening all, what a thoroughly miserable saturday it has been in my neck of the woods.  The rain has barely stopped all day and me and the girls have spent the majority of it staring out of the window watching the neighbour did up his whole garden.  He says he is flattening it so his son can have a trampoline but if the weather carries on he's more likely to end up with a rather muddy swimming pool!

Now, onto today's card.  This is a real quick card, I came across these papers in my craft room the other day and for some reason they reminded me of clouds and sky - I thought they would go perfectly with my newest LOTV addition.

This is the first time he's been inked up, I coloured him with my promarkers and boy did I struggle colouring fur, I'm still not entirely happy with him but I suppose I have to start somewhere.

Here's the full card, I hope you can see what I mean by clouds and sky :-D.

The lovely pom pom and ribbon both came free with the papers too, as did the little cloud which I hand wrote my simple sentiment.

As always I decorated the inside to co-ordinate.

One last pic then that's me done for today, i'm off to watch Iron Man.

I do hope you like like my little card.

Hello to my lovely new followers and thank you so much for any comments you may leave.

Hugs xx Cara xx

Gorjuss in the garden

Evening all, how are you? after all this time i though it was about time i asked ;-D.

I'm sharing a card today made with one of the very first stamps i ever bought, i stamped her and coloured her as soon as i bought her but she never made it onto a card.  i found the poor thing face down under a pile of scraps so i dusted her off, added some shading with my prisma's (my earlier colouring had no shading lol) and here she is in all her glory.

I used centura pearl ivory card stock to make my base and matted prima fairy belle papers with green centura pearl.

I fussy cut my image for a change to create a little scene, i used lots of dies for my little han made flowers and leaves to which i added pearls and butterflies (all made with yet more centura)

The little sentiment tag part of the fabby set from LOTV - my fave buy from the Stamp Magic show.

I finished of my card with some stickles, liquid pearls and a bow, the inside has been decorated to compliment the front.

I do hope you like my little card.

Thank you all so very much for visiting me and any comments you may leave.

Hugs xx Cara xx

Hippy chick

Evening all, I'd like to share another card with you today showing my fave Krista Smith image.  This hippie chick reminds me so much of myself in my teens, when all I wanted to do was save the animals and work for green peace lol.

I did post this coloured image previously as it was the first time i'd used my prisma pencils and I thought it was about time she made it onto a card.

I have used my favourite cordinations cardstock to mat all of my layers, the pretty papers are by prima and i've gone around all off the edges with a white gel pen.

I used lilac bakers twine to hold my little dragon fly charm (both from ribbon girl) and the ticket sentiment is from whimsy which has been cut with the matching die.

I made the rolled flower using cordinations card (again) with a marianne die and the corners are whimsy.

The little butterflies are MS.

One last picture and thats me done ready to watch the footy.

I do hope you like my card, thank you so much for any comments you may leave.

Totally Tilda Challenge

Tut Tut Tut what a bad blogger am I!!!

Apologies to my lovely followers for being MIA of late but life has just gotten in the way of my poor little blog lately, i've been on hols, had sick children and poorly pets, but enough of my excuses!

I was doing a little blog hopping earlier and I came across the new challenge over at Totally Tilda and it gave me the nudge I needed to post this little project i've been working on for my daughters room.

Excuse the rubbish pictures I could not for the life of me get one full picture it is soooooo big.

I started off with ready cut bunting which I bought from the range and I covered it in Dovecraft paper from Little owl pad.  All of the edges have been hand stitched and distressed with DI tattered rose, including the letters which i printed from a crafter's companion CDRom.

I stamped my tilda's and then scanned and enlarged them on my pc before printing off and colouring them with promarkers and lots of stickles.

The embellishments are a mixture of hand stamped (covered in glossy accents) and wild orchid flowers.

I used lovely ric rac ribbon from the pink mini kit from the ribbon girl.

I hope you like my project, i have some more things to post so hopefully i'll be back some time next week.

Thank you so much for looking and any comments you leave.
