Hi everyone, I'm really sorry but I don't have a project to share with you tonight.
I appreciate each and every one of my lovely followers so I thought I owe you all a little explanation for the lack of action on my blog lately.
My little girl Lacey is currently suffering her 11th bout of tonsillitis in as many months!
The poor little thing suffers so badly that she ends up with a temperature of 40 and loses so much weight, however the doctor refuses to refer her for them removing due to her being asthmatic!
On top of all that we had a flood in the house on Monday, the top floor toilet waste pipe must have been leaking for some time and on Monday it brought the ceiling in my built in wardrobe down hence everything in their stunk to high heaven!
The plumbing is now sorted but we have quite a bit of decorating to do.
I finally thought I was getting straight last night until my hubby woke me up at 12 am being rather ill in the bathroom, quickly followed by Lacey being sick in her bed..... I have been up all night with them both being sick the whole night!
I'm so tired, my DT work has now fallen behind too!
I will get back on top eventually so please bare with me!
I miss you all and as soon as I have time I promise to come visiting again!
Until then, love and hugs xx Cara xx

Thanks with a Cherry on top!
Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying your Sunday?!!!
I was shocked when I got up this morning, when I looked out of the window every bit of snow had disappeared! The girls were less than impressed I must say!
Onto my card ...
This little cuty patooty is another delight from Tiddly Inks, she is called Cupcake Bug, she comes with lots of extra's and can be found here.
I've coloured her with my promarkers as always.
The papers are by Raspberry Road and are another magazine freebie from last year.!
Hope you like my card, enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
Love and hugs xx Cara xx
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:
The Sweet Stop - Sketch

Pink Gem Holidays
Hi everyone, are you enjoying your weekend so far ... hope you are having fun in the snow and are keeping safe and warm!
Today see;s a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and this week we would like to see any project with a Holiday theme ... this could be Christmas, Easter, Summer or any other kind of holiday you celebrate!
Now i've got to admit, this week was supposed to be just "The Gems" turn to post ... but I got myself all muddle up and created a project too,.... (in fact I created 3!!) it would be rude not to blog them now wouldn't it lol.
(warning ..picture heavy)
I decided to create Easter cards ready for my 3 girls..
Janet has some lovely Easter images in the store, you can buy them individually or in a set as i've done ...if you hurry too they are currently on sale!
I used the same layout for them all....
The papers are all freebies from a magazine!
For all 3 cards I only used 3 sheets of paper and one page with my digi's printed out!
I added little pearls, some doodling and an easter sentiment also from the store.
I do hope you like my little cards, I hope the girls do too!
I've been suffering with a terrible cold this week, so every time I attempt to craft I have to stop to blow my nose... i'm hping to get better soon as I'm getting a bit behind with my DT work :-(
I'm off for a hot lemon now, take care
Hugs xx Cara xx
I'd like to enter my cards into the following challenges:
Card crafters circle - Green and yellow
Desert Island - Feathers, Four colours, Fancy text
My Time to craft - Things with wings
Tuesday Throwdown - Furry Friends

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all safe and well with the weather we've been having ... my girlies have truly loved the snow but I can honestly say that i'm not nearly as impressed!
I finally found time to have a play in my neglected craft room last night ... not for too long but I did manage to make up this little card ... now prepare yourselves for a shock ......its a...............................BOYS CARD!!!!
Lol I even shocked myself but this super cute image from Christy Croll (Tiddly Inks) made it an easy peasy task!
This is the Super cute "Conductor" .. is he just darling?? I love his hat!
He has been coloured with my pro/flexmarkers.
The lovely papers are from another old pad..this time from Kaisercraft Peachy Keen collection, everything has had the faux stitching treatment and then matted onto brown Bazzill.
The LO was from a fab sketch on one of the challenges, but now I can't remember which one it was so can't link up :-(
So there ya go, hope you all have a wonderful evening, i'm off to make some tea and then have another play.... I
got a delivery of some new flexmarkers today woo hoo!

Pink Gem DT - Embossing
Evening all,
I hope you are safe and well with the wintry weather we've been having in the UK.
I'm here a little..(.well a lot) late with my DT card for the new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge where the theme this week is Embossing.
Before i show you my card I should let you know that we have changed thing around a bit on the challenge blog and we are now a WEEKLY challenge, so get your entries in lickety split!!!
I've got to admit i'm struggling to find my crafty mojo lately ... maybe I packed it away with the christmas decorations ... who knows but I hope I find it soon, i've not been happy with any of my creations for a while now :-(
So anyway here's my card:
This is the ever so cute Jada with bauble, she comes as a digi and also a coloured version.
I used the coloured version as I so love the airbrushed effect on the clothes and skin.
I have fussy cut her out and raised her up with some 3D glue gel.
I've used lots of dies, punches and embossing folders today, from Joy Crafts, Spellbinders and Martha Stewart.
The gorgeous card stock is Bazzil Bling and has a lovely sparkle to it (really it has you cant see with my rubbish photo skills).
The little sentiment tags are from LOTV and a sprinkling of gems finish it off.
And there you have it!
I hope you like my rather rushed little card.
Thanks to my lovely followers for sticking with me and my rather neglected blog.
Hugs xx Cara xx
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Bearly Mine challenges - Anything goes
C.R.A.F.T - Xmas in January

Forever Rose
Tonight i'm sharing a card which I made to order for a friend at work, she wanted a girls card for an 18 year old and the only specific was it has to include a girl with "different" hair.
I went to one of my fave images from Crafts and Me and combined it with the latest sketch challenge over at Addicted to Stamps.
And here she is, this is Forever Rose
She has been coloured up with my promarkers as always.
I've used more new papers for this card, these are J'adore by First edition and i really love them.
I made the flower with my new Sunflower die from Die-namics and then I went a little bit liquid pearl crazy!
Here's a little peak at the inside, decorated with more of that paper and liquid pearls.
The large "18" are made of wood, coloured and stickled to death!
There, hope you like it, i'm off for tea and the to Slimming World for my weigh in ... eeek!
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

DT Cupboard Trilogy
Hello again,
Today has been my last day off from work ... boo, I will be glad to get back to normality I think though, i'm also tiring of the Chritmas decorations ... i'm itching to take them down and give everywhere a proper fettling... is it just me?
Today also see's the start of a new challenge over at The Cupboard Trilogy and this month we have gone with the theme of "Lead by example" ... simply chose one of the DT examples and use that as the inspiration to make your own card, LO or 3d item ... simples!
So for a change I went with a very CAS card ...
This was a commisioned card for a friend whos "missus" is expecting a baby anytime soon and he wanted a xmas card to express his thanks to her for carrying his child ... aaaaaaw bless him.
The image is from Sassy Studio which I won just before christmas. I simply printed her out with my own sentiment and coloured her up with my Promarkers .... i couldn't resist a
teeny tiny bit of bling and popped a gem for an earing.
Everything is matted onto red then black Bazzil Basics ans i've doodled round the edges with my black fine liner.
And there you have it!
I hope you like my CAS design and would love to see your take on my creation over at the challenge blog.
Thanks for popping by :-)
Love and hugs

Happy New Year!!!
Happy new Year to all my dear blogging friends and visitors!!!
I hope you all had an excellent evening last night whether out partying or having a cozy evening with family!
Me and my eldest daughter sat down to do some crafting last night and she set us a challenge of both creating a card each using exactly the same design sheets ( free with a magazine).
I thoroughly enjoyed myself and used something I would never normally have done if crafting on my own.
First i'll show you her sweet card (which she has decided to give to her nan)
She chose the design sheet in one of her favourite colours and added lots of pink stickle, gems and pearls. She even raided my button jar bless her.
I so love how children can put a card together without worrying about composition and colour matching etc.
I think her card is fantastic! She took great joy in the fact that she finished well before me and then proceeded to sit watching me whilst calling me "the worlds biggest faffer" as i spent ages making mine lol.
On to my card
As you can see I did spend ages "faffing" about with loads of matting and faux stitching etc and the end result is not half as charming as Phoebe's effort.
Here's a close up of the fab Humphrey image - i love the "large" family there are so cute!
And here's a quick side ways view - sorry about the naff photo's guys, santa brought me a fancy new camera but failed to supply any decent instructions :-(
Thanks for visiting me today, I do hope you like my (and Phoebe's ) cards today.
I'll be up in a bit with my DT card for The Cupboard Trilogy so i'll see you soon.
Hugs xx Cara xx

Craftymess - show some sparkle/bling
Sparkles Monthly - Anything goes
Glitter and sparkle - Fave colour (phoebe's is pink)
